Reblogging Japan - Beer For Pets
While researching previous posts on kids’ beer, I came across several blogs featuring Petcomyu’s Happy Lager, a beer aimed at dogs. Like kids’ beer, dogs’ beer is a non-alcoholic beer that is marketed in the same way as regular alcoholic beer (ie shown in advertising to be consumed in the same way and in the same places).
Unfortunately, none of the bloggers I came across had been curious enough to try either kids’ beer or dogs’ beer, so I don’t know what they taste like. I’m guessing they’re probably quite similar though.
On the subject of the pet FMCG market, Tokyo Times features the Pet Sweat (a canine cousin of Pocari Sweat) photo seen below right, while Inventorspot has a piece called 10 Perfect Drinks To Serve Your Dog….In A Dog Bar, which features both Happy Lager and Pet Sweat among others.
